Here is a golden opportunity, so open your auricular sponge clots and listen up. I have some eggs that I need to get rid of. Twenty fucking seven eggs, in fact. There's a variety and what doesn't get taken by some happy new partner slash owner gets set free into the wilds to defend itself.

Otherwise? I've got nothing. I do want to ask if anyone has any leads on what the fuck happened the last week, but I'm doubtful that anyone really knows who was behind that shit.

You're the one worrying. [Reaching up and catching his jaw in one hand, Vanitas lightly squishes his cheeks with fingers and thumb.] So knock it off yourself.

[ and there's a full blown flush there. excuse Karkat a moment while he punches Vanitas in the gut and trying to curl away. ]

[He would have commented, but with the punch, he's wheezing and curling in on himself before falling right off the bed.]

[It's going to take a minute, he's really not recovering that quickly; Karkat got him completely offguard, completely relaxed, and completely open. Groaning from the floor, he's going to struggle to uncurl around himself now, but not get up.] What was that for?!

I haven't eaten anything that would make my breath stink that bad, asshole! [He's still kind of wheezing, his voice squeaking at the end simply from lack of air. Shifting and trying to get up, he's groaning again and slumping back down. That was a hard hit, probably the worst he's had in a long time, simply because he wasn't prepared for it at all.

Water leaking at the corner of his eyes? Maybe a little.]

[ slowly Karkat pulls out of his pillow. rolls over to the side of the bed and peeks over it. ]

...You okay, you big fucking wuss?

[Just going to growl at him weakly on the floor, body curled up on side and arms around his stomach.] I wasn't prepared to get punched.

[ just... throws a hand out. to poke or something. ]

[Going to reach up and catch that hand, just gripping a moment.. then yanks hard to drag him off the bed and to the floor.]

[ Karkat allows for it. then as soon as he's tugged, he yelps out a 'fuck' before crashing down.

groaning, he swears more, free hand rubbing his probably bleeding nose from his face plant. ]

THE FUCK!?

[Well, making Karkat face plant into the floor hadn't been his intention, but too late now. He's keeping that hand though, his grip tight and grumbles, rolling over a little to give him a Look again.]

For punching me. Your nose okay? [Smallest bit of guilt in his tone, but he's not apologizing yet; he doesn't see any blood just yet..]

[ yeah no. it's bleeding. ]

[The guilt stretches a bit further, sulking a bit since he went too far.. and simply reaches down to tear the bottom of his shirt. Sitting up with a small wince, Vani reaches with the fabric to carefully catch Karkat's nose and nudge his head upward, pinching lightly; he didn't dare pinch harder out of concern for hurting him worse.]

No. My fault. [It's mumbled, but still audible. Carefully pinching a little harder, he watches to make sure he doesn't hurt him again.]
