Gamzee could have killed us all in his subjuggulating state. Kanaya and Terezi wanted to fight him off. So according to your limited perspective and view, because I chose to stand up and take responsibility, facing him down with gentle paps and soothing tones that means I'm weak?

Probably not, because Ventus is incredibly naive and stupid. He didn't know what Master wanted until Master dropped Heartless on him, saying "let these devour your heart". The basic invitation to become a mindless, heart devouring monster who can't reclaim his own heart, because it would grant power.

He made the choice to shatter our heart too. It's why we're as good as dead if he never wake up.

[He hissed, at first, his tone breaking a moment, but it only serves to make several of these appear. Vanitas stands again without hesitation and takes them out with some rough swings of a suddenly summoned keyblade.]
