[ rolls his eyes and starts to gather his things up. Karkat bites his lip, then sighs. ]

[The explanation gets a quiet expression on his face, before Vanitas turns his mouth down to a slight frown.] I don't see you as a weakling, Karkat, and even with it being a defect, you aren't a defect.

[ but he's not replying the second half. sure, Vani thinks that. only because he doesn't know. [Frowning further while watching him, Vani can tell his thoughts are still very much focused on things he isn't telling him. Shifting his bad shoulder then, purposely, he turns his nose up a bit.]
