Oh my god... How can anyone want to stick around one place for longer than a few weeks when there's so much shit to get done? I've been settled in Vermillion for only about three weeks and I am already going absolutely shithive maggots. Maybe the best idea is to just blaze through those last few badges, I don't know. What I do know is that one way or another, I am getting the merry fuck on my way. Screw waiting for the weather warm up.

I think my Pichu is feeling it too because he's kind of sparking here and there. Is that normal? Like, my Ampharos when she was a Mareep had this problem, but what the shit do I do to avoid getting shocked this time around? It's not like I can just take care when brushing him! That and he thinks every damn thing is funny at the moment and it just sets him off! Right now it's a never ending spiral of shocking, what I think is giggling, and more shocking. Just make it stop, oh my god.

[ as if on cue, a little Pichu can be heard chiming in and an aggravated huff from a Zangoose. Karkat... he just groans. sighs... ]

Unrelated to all of the globetickling bulgehumps out there and my own trainer problems - which is to say that this message is only for those of my particular joint universes - where the blithering fuck is everyone? I just met up with Eridan a few days ago, but what about everyone else?

[ private to Rose ]

So um. There's a little bit of a problem.

I could ask Kanaya, but I thought... Uh...

That...honestly sounds less serious than I'd have expected!

Actually, I was expecting some sort of eevee race where the winners got stones, but I didn't realize it would be quite like that?

Well my mind is set so I suppose I've earned that Rose-ing, but still it will do nothing to deter me.

Definitely not in the way I imagined it!!! He just seemed a but serious to do something like that, that's why I was surprised.
tentacletrainer: (Oh I'm sorry. Did that hurt?)

Well, that's up to you. Would you like to visit a tailor or would you like me to purchase you a new set of threads?

[[Aw yee listen to her being all hip and stuff.]]

[[OMG Karkat IT'S FINE.]]

Of course you may. Do you plan on leaving Vermillion any time soon?
tentacletrainer: (You truly amuse me.)

Well it's being held in Goldenrod. Meaning you can take the train here and once it's over, take the train back? So unless you are direly desiring being stuck in Johto, you would probably be safe visiting for the con. [[Just a friendly suggestion.]]

Well, visit the tailor there. I'll talk to a few of my friends and have them put in a word.

[[Or casually pay your tab, depending on if they can. She doesn't know how the tailor network works between Johto and Kanto....]]

How did you end up doing it?

Well, usually, if you get that giant stick out your ass it goes by a lot easier.

[Sollux is the certified master of lying around. While other people were out making fools of themselves at Halloween parties across the nation, he spent like three weeks on the beaches of Olivine. But at least he got a badge out of it, so he wasn't completely useless for all that time, right?]

And about the sparking... well, my Luxray does the same thing all the time, but I think that's just her. She gets unreasonably excited about battling and stuff, and sparks a lot then. But to be honest, not nearly as bad as that.

I think your Pichu is just high.

[... Sollux.]

Some of us like to be productive Captor. I know it's hard for you to understand without numbers raining down on the viewport. For the sake of the rest of us, please step down from your goddamn pedestal of laziness.

Del never sparked this much. He was always well fucking behaved. Personally, I think you're the one that's no room to give me any sort of grief about the wellness of my beasts when you can't deal with your own personal issues, shitsponge.

Hey, fuck you, I am doing plenty of things out here. Just because I'm stuck here waiting for everyone else to get their asses in gear and beat Bugsy doesn't mean I'm lazy. [He's got so many projects, Karkat. So many.]

And hey, my Pokémon are doing perfectly fine! They're just... new, that's all.

[SOLLUX HAS HAD A LOT OF DISAGREEMENTS IN HIS LIFE, you're going to have to be more specific than that.]

Perhaps you are not occupying yourself well enough. Reading is a good way to pass the time, should enough material be provided for you.

[Philip's pretty grumpy, himself. He'd rather have stuck around in Pallet, but Marlowe's got him on the move.]

As for the electrical shocks, it might be prudent to wear rubber gloves. Rubber does not conduct electricity.

I'm sorry, Vantas, but no matter how big a stick I have up my ass, the answer to that question is still "you" by virtue of your stick's size and prominence. It's just always there.

Then you were not provided with sufficient material.

[GO READ MORE, RUDE ONE.]

If you are still receiving shocks while using rubber as a countermeasure, I would consider having him discharge all electricity onto a metal object of some sort. It is possible he has built up a surplus, though if he is just doing this to be a nuisance, that should work as a solution as well. If the cause is due to the weather, as the dryness of winter is often the cause of an increase in static, then adding some moisture should be simple as well. I would assume the stores here are equipped enough to sell humidifiers.
